Baby Friends
We stopped over in Wichita on our way to and from Oklahoma and spent a few hours with our friends the Taylors. Always a good time.

Bring on the Chicken
We were excited to spend the morning at Chick-Fil-A in Liberty, MO on it's Grand Opening Day! Just so happy to have it semi-nearby.
It really was a party.
Would've had a picture of the girls with the big cow, but it really freaked them out.
Hearing the Ocean, Seeing the Fishes
The NC Aquarium at Fort Fisher is always a fun stop. Oh, and if you're a friend of the KC Zoo, you get in free at the aquarium all the way in NC. Pretty neat, I thought.

Listening to the "Oh-shee."
Sometimes she IS a little crabby.
Helping Grandaddy help everyone up.
Not too fond of the crocodile.
Checking out the starfish with Grandad.
Nemo's school teacher.
Lots of fish.
Natalie says, "yuck" to sharks. I think she saw it in a movie or something, but it's pretty cute.
Landon's cute smile is almost always present.
After the Aquarium we hopped on the Ferry to Southport. This is always a big hit with the kiddos. I remember loving it as a kid myself.
After-Nap Snacks
Popsicles have never been better than on a humid summer day at the grandparents.

Port City Java
Although I run the risk of getting a serious brain freeze I am forced to down my Mocha Shake in about 3.2 minutes. The remainder of my restful, coffee shop experience is spent chasing my 2 year old from the water fountain to the ladies room and back. Might as well snap some pictures of her naughty cuteness while I'm running...

handsome (han'sum)
adj.1 pleasant to look at; good-looking, especially in a manly or dignified way. See Sutton Paul Cook, below.

Getting out from behind the lens
I decided to have Grandaddy take some photos of Natalie and I playing at the beach so she'll believe I was actually there. Pretty sure this is what true love looks like. I'm so glad God gave us a girl (and a boy, but this post is about the girl).

The Explorer
Granny bought tiny chairs for all the toddler grandkids to sit in at the beach. Natalie LOVED moving her Dora chair, and even sitting it sometimes. It was by far the best beach "toy" she has every played with.

Sutton and the Sand
Another big-eyed baby.
He really is quite kissable.
"Brother, why are you wearing your work clothes to the beach?"
Starting to smile.

At the Beach
I love how well my child entertains herself at the beach. We could stay there all day, everyday.
Isaiah and Grandaddy.
So big and so small.

How to Eat a PT Burger
PT's Grille in Wilmington, NC is the best place for a burger, according to all Klings and Cooks.

Step 1: Inspect burger for desired doneness.
Step 2: Open wide.
Step 3: Take a big bite.

Step 4: Savor the juicy goodness in your mouth.
Step 5: Betwee bites, never set the burger down out of your site, as others at the table may devour it.
Landon, Terry's youngest child.
Sutton, ready for his first day as a Duponter. If you only you could appreciate how many days Grandaddy went to work wearing a pocket protector just like this one....
Sutton and Grandad.
The whole gang at PTs.

Carport Pool
We spent a week playing with our cousins at Granny and Grandad's. They came all the way from Idaho. Makes KC not seem like such a long trip.
