Flyin High in the Sky
The swing was really installed for Sutton, but Natalie loves it too. And in true Grandad style, he made it bigger and better by cutting down a limb that was impeding it from going high enough to touch the leaves.

Constantly exploring is one of the best things about being in NC. Check out the huge moth we found.
Beachy Keen
Nothing extraordinary, just thought they were postworthy.

A book and a towel
Remember when we used to go to the beach with just our towel and a magazine? Those days are long gone. However, I also remember the days of sitting in my chair watching other mommies with their toddlers, longing for that to be me. Well, my day has come, and it's work, but FUN.

This baby loves peek-a-boo like no other.
The feel of that little arm around my neck is well worth missing out on napping in a chair.

If only I could've videoed the laughter.
She's getting more and more brave.
No matter where I am in life, a day at the beach is still a day at the beach.
More of the beach

This picture has me thinking my daughter just may be the most beautiful girl in the world. :)

New ladybug kite. It pulled her halfway down the beach, but she never let go!
Chillin.

What's not to be happy about? It was a perfect day for the beach.
Back to the Beach
Natalie was so happy to be back at the beach. She was fearless in the water.

Newly Renovated
Grandaddy worked long and hard to make some major upgrades to our old playhouse. It wasn't quite finished in these pictures, but as you can see Natalie didn't mind one bit. She LOVES "her house."

A real window, spring-close door, a deck with a picnic table. This place got all the upgrades.

Grandad even put half-sized steps, so the grandkids wouldn't have to strain themselves.
Sutton loves it too.
Entertaining her guests.
Lunch on the deck.
It's just her size.
Shatto Dairy Farm
Our church playgroup made its way to the Dairy Farm a few weeks ago. It was fun tasting the flavored milks (Root Beer Milk was surprisingly delicious), getting to milk a cow and watching how everything works to get fresh milk into our local grocery stores.

A Classic
They both LOVE this cozy coupe. Looks cozy huh?
