Beckett's First Night at Home
He's already the center of attention and fitting in just fine.

Home Sweet Home
I LOVE these photos. The ones of the tiny baby in the carseat for the first time. It's so fun to compare it to how much they grow in just a few short months. Already makes me want to slow his growth down!
When we drove into the garage, we found this sweet Welcome sign. I love how both Natalie and Sutton added their own artwork. I am such a sucker for my kids' artwork.
Big sibs welcoming baby brother to his new home.

We think he's really gonna like it here.  :)
The Papa and the Momma
We are both already in love, but there's no surprise there.

It's impossible to remember how incredible a newborn is until you're holding it in your arms. Even better when that newborn is your very own, to keep forever!
FIRST of many FAMILY PHOTOs

Meeting More Family
Granny gazing.
Uncles trying to dress the baby.
It was pretty cool having both of my brothers at the hospital to see their new nephew. Neither have ever lived near enough to us to visit our new babies right away, so it was really special that they both came out together and saw him. Love those big brothers of mine, love how they love my babies.
We were introducing Beckett to Brody and neither of them seemed to excited about it! They're sure to be great friends over the years, but it was way too far past their bedtimes for them to appreciate each other.

BiG BRoTHeR!
Sutton is intrigued by his new baby brother. It's so fun to watch him investigate Beckett's every detail. The way he says "Back-it" is probably 90% of the reason we went with that name. It's already so much fun to watch their relationship grow, from the very start.

SO PROUD
Natalie already knew what being a big sister is all about. But even she wasn't prepared for how much she would adore this new baby brother. She truly cannot get enough of him.

Big Sibs Meet Baby Beckett
Natalie and Sutton were so excited to meet Baby Beckett.

Sutton started right in on "this little piggy" on those tiny toes.
And Natalie couldn't wait to hold him all by herself.

One of those moments I will never forget.

Sutton's First Day of Preschool
He looks too small to me to be going anywhere I am not right by his side for 2 mornings a week, but he is ready!

His favorite center, anywhere the wheels are. He was happy until I said goodbye, then the tears came, but apparently just until I left the room. It was really hard to leave this little guy, but we both made it. The smiles were even bigger as he told me about cars, snack and lunch when I came to pick him up!
Endless Summer
You would think that school starting back and the weather dropping into the 70s (for a few days) means Fall is in the air and Summer is long gone. After all it was just Labor Day. But it's just not the case here in NC. We're back in the 90s and the summer guests keep coming. More visits to the beach and sightseeing galore means I get to keep my summer for at least one more week. :) Here are a few pics of our trip to the aquarium with our friends, the Nelsons who are in town this week.

This sea turtle is a new addition to the aquarium since our last visit. It is so small and adorable.

Leave it to Mr. Joe to coax the kids into a hurricane simulator! They loved it.

New Hat
Sutton got this hat for his train birthday back in June, but has recently fallen in love with it. And in so doing, has caused me to fall in love with the way he constantly wears it a little sideways.
