Maryland Heads South
Our friends, the Farris family came down for a weekend visit. The kids had SO much fun together and the parents did too. Refreshing, semi-relaxing and fun.

Group Shot. So fun to see how God has grown our families since the beginning of our friendship.
All aboard the Mr. David Express.
Dinner in pj's.
A funny story for 4 year-olds. Micah and Natalie are just a few months apart in age and have a BLAST together. Lots of giggling.
Two year-old tickle time.
Sutton Paul (SP) and Simon Peter (SP) couldn't help themselves from coming back for more and more.
And a good time was had by all.
At The Car Wash
We had an unusually sunny and warm February day. So, we spent as many hours as possible outside. During that time, we cleaned our cars, mine and Sutton's.

"Bodey"
This is Brody, our favorite baby these days. And Sutton's pal. Lucky for us, his family is willing to share this little joy with us every now and then!

Little Sleepover
Coming across places where Natalie has played never gets old. I love how everything has been placed just so. So silly what melts a momma's heart.
Reading about Trains
"Choo-ooo choo. Woooo-woo. Shew Shew. Toot Toooooot. Choo choo train."
He looked so cozy, I just couldn't resist the photo op.
Very First Valentine Box
Natalie and Mom loved making the box for her valentine cards. In the middle of life's craziness, Mom had almost forgotten how much she loves crafting. And Nat was super excited about the cards she gave and received. Just one more unexpected, fun tradition we'll get to experience together for many years to come!

Happy Birthday to Me!
I am so blessed to have the family God has given me. Every single year they make my birthday such a celebration.

The homemade Lemon Cake Nate worked on for hours was worth every second he spent cooking and cleaning! At least, to me it was! It was beyond amazing.
A quick shot of the happy, healthy family I have been given.

And another birthday blessing: living near Granny. She made my favorite, her lasagna. Everyone invited to the dinner was especially happy I was born so they could celebrate with the lasagna too.

All in a Day's Work
of a Big Sister
After Natalie packed her own suitcase, she took it upon herself to help her brother out. This is what I found on his floor, ready to be packed.

Man Jeans
Sutton Paul is such a mini man in dark denim Levi's. As a teenage girl, I always thought it would be just horrible to be a guy and have your pants size right there on the outside of your pants for all the world to see. Well, I still wouldn't love it (even though you have to be pretty close to see the size, so whoever is that close better have a good excuse) but as a little man, it is too darn cute. I don't know why I think it's so great, but the little "2T" is just the cutest thing I've seen of late. No 34x32 here, just a little 2T. Seriously, that is adorable.

Silly Sutton

"He's all boy." That's what they say, right?! Well I love all of this all boy.

Merry Christmas Day
Santa visited Natalie.
And Sutton too!
Playing with stocking stuff. Raaaaar!
These three are what make my Christmas so wonderful.
The Choo Choo Train was definitely the biggest hit of this Christmas season, and will certainly be hard to top in the future. Luckily, it's a holiday train, so it will be back every Christmas.
Christmas Lunch. Sutton blowing out the candles in the centerpiece.

Lighting the last of the advent candles.
Christmas conversation at Klings. I just love the mantle in this picture. There really is no place like Home for the Holidays.

Round two of Christmas, with the Cooks. Sutton putting fishing lures the his ears.
That's better. Well, not his, but at least they belong on his ears.
OU gear from our OU aunties.
Playing with the goods.

A week with Mimi and Pops, best gift of all.
Helping with holiday clean-up.

Twas the Night Before Christmas
Reading the classic.
