Christmas Eve

Our Christmas Eve service at church was a childrens musical. Natalie was in the choir and also had a part in the Happy Birthday Jesus solo. She refused to sing the solo, but was happy to hold the mic at the end and say "Happy Birthday Jesus." She didn't love it when the entire crowd "awwww"-ed after she spoke in her sweet little tiny voice, but she got over it. :)

 Sutton sang every word from the audience. 

 Such a little lady these days.

 On to open stocking at Granny and Grandad's.

 Great great Aunt Sallie with all her nieces and nephews. She is the matriarch of the Kling family now.

 Natalie was thrilled with the hippo ornament that sang her favorite silly Christmas song. 

 Beckett's first Christmas Eve was a hit!

 What does one do to finish off the perfect Christmas Eve? Why track Santa on the computer with Grandaddy of course. Then rush home to bed!

Sunday Funday

 This was as close as Sutton got to Santa. Suffice it to say, none of the photos turned out. The baby was hungry, Sutton was stuck to mommy and Natalie was busy telling Santa everyone's wishes. Maybe we'll try again. Or maybe not. :)

 The train ride that never was. Wouldn't go. Gonna have to try that again too. :)

 If at first you don't succeed...nap. It WAS a sunday afternoon after all.

 Sugar rush ended. Sleepy guy.

 Claire (in the middle) babysits for us now. I was their sitter when Claire was 6 months old! So fun to be in their lives, and have them in ours.
